Salute America’s 250th birthday this summer! Students will explore curriculum inspired by American past times and favorites, in flavor, science, and adventure during our multi-course all-inclusive enrichment program! American Eats: A Culinary Adventure invites students to enjoy a hands-on exploration of American summer cuisine with a fun and flavorful mix of baked and no-bake recipes inspired by classic home-style favorites and fairground treats. During Build & Thrill STEM activities, students become amusement park engineers, designing and building attractions through engaging, classroom-based STEM activities. Using roller coasters as a central focus, students explore concepts such as gravity, speed, energy, and motion by creating and testing model coasters, while additional challenges include designing Ferris wheels, spinning rides, and other theme park attractions. Through collaborative design, problem-solving, and real-world engineering challenges, students apply science, math, and critical thinking skills as they imagine, build, and refine their own amusement park ideas. Designed for students Getting Ready for Kindergarten, Entering First Grade through Sixth Grade, this one-week enrichment program builds reading, writing, and math skills through hands-on activities, games, movement, and creative projects. Students learn using research-based approaches such as the Science of Reading, Writer’s Workshop, and foundational math strategies—but in ways that are active and exciting. Children will rotate through engaging literacy centers, interactive math games, storytelling and writing adventures, and plenty of active play that keeps young learners energized and focused. Garden City Summer Afternoon Enrichment K-6
SCOPE Enrichment is proudly offering an amazing afternoon summer enrichment program. Families can register weekly for our all inclusive enrichment program. Students will experience three courses each afternoon including 45 minutes of STEM lessons, 45 minutes of fine arts activities, and 45 minutes of physical activities and movement each day. * If students are continuing from morning enrichment, they must bring a bagged lunch. They will be supervised by SCOPE staff during lunch until 12:30 and then begin our amazing lessons and activities. *If your child would like to participate in the afternoon only, they can be dropped off at 12:30pm. -

American Sculpting & Canvas Painting (Grades 7–12) One-Week Summer Intensive Dive into a week of hands-on artistic exploration in American Sculpting & Canvas Painting, designed for middle and high school students with a passion for creativity. This intensive program blends three-dimensional sculpting techniques with expressive painting, allowing students to bring their ideas to life in multiple mediums. Participants will experiment with sculpting materials to create original figures, abstract forms, and thematic art pieces inspired by American culture and contemporary styles.
